Apartments and Retail, Newport
The Brief
The construction of a new build development of eleven apartments and three retail units set within a Conservation Area of Newport. The location determined that traditional materials were specified in the build in keeping with the design of the original building that once stood on the site.
Our Role
Provided Quantity Surveying and Construction Management services to the private developer where we programmed and procured all of the work in packages, with the on-site work managed by the client.
The Result
Successful delivery of an impressive, landmark building incorporating period features reflecting the history and heritage of the local vicinity.
Conversion to Apartments, Worcester
The Brief
To convert this Grade II listed building from obsolete offices into 46 luxury residential apartments.
Andrew’s Role
Prior to establishing Curtis Surveyors, Andrew Curtis’ role was Quantity Surveyor for this scheme which was procured on a negotiated basis.
The Result
Project delivered successfully and all apartments sold, many off plan.
